Day 6: Sun 2 Aug – Regensburg to Deggendorf (Germany)
Ride: 102km
We had a good ride today with a tailwind. We went through some nice towns and countryside. Graham was buggered but I was not pushed at all. He doesn't get much chance to train due to the weather, while I am always out on the bike. Will have to take it easy tomorrow.
Checked-in to Hotel Gasthof for €79
for a very nice twin room. Had a shower and a wander to check out the sights
and a place for dinner. Nice fried rice for dinner with a glass of wine each
which came to the princely sum of €15 for the two meals.
