Day 12: Sat 8 Aug – Zwentendorf to Vienna
Ride: 70km
Along the way to Vienna, we stopped at Klosterneubergand and had a look around the Castle/Palace/Cathedral which was very spectacular.
Arrived in Vienna quite early but took ages to find the hotel as Graham was reading the map wrong! Saw Kunst Haus Wien, an art museum focusing on the works of Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
Graham decided he will go home tomorrow. I don’t think he
is well and he misses Sylvia who is due to attend a specialist appointment
soon. I decided I had had enough of big cities and either had to get back into
the countryside or go home. It’s going to cost a bit either way though.
